Responsibilities
The selected candidate will provide comprehensive paediatric anaesthesia services, including:
- Administering paediatric anaesthesia for various procedures.
- Offering cardiac anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia, and pre-anaesthesia care.
- Managing acute, chronic, and complex pain through children’s pain services.
- Providing procedural pain management tailored to pediatric patients.
- Conducting research to improve anaesthesia practices and outcomes.
- Teaching and mentoring junior anaesthesia staff and medical trainees.
- Leading quality improvement initiatives to enhance safety and patient experience in anaesthesia care.
Requirements
- Recognized M.B.B.S. or an equivalent basic medical degree.
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications recognized by the Singapore Medical Council.
- Completion of specialist training in paediatric anaesthesia or a related field.
- Accredited as a specialist in paediatric anaesthesia or the appropriate specialty.
