Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing interventional radiology procedures, including vascular interventions, biopsy, and tumor embolization.
- Conducting oncological interventions such as chemoembolization and radiofrequency ablation (RFA).
- Managing endovenous laser therapy (EVLT), angioplasty, and stenting for vascular conditions.
- Performing image-guided interventions for trauma and hemorrhage control.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Teaching and mentoring junior staff and trainees.
- Contributing to research and clinical innovation in interventional radiology.
Requirements
- Recognized medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Specialist accreditation in Radiology from a recognized board.
- Eligible for medical registration with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) and Specialist Accreditation Board (SAB).
- Extensive experience in interventional radiology, with a focus on vascular and oncological procedures.
- Fellowship training in interventional radiology preferred.
- Proficiency in advanced imaging techniques.
