Job Description
Our client - a prestigious & well-known healthcare provider in the ILTC sector, is looking for Physiotherapists to join them.
The ideal candidates are responsible for a caseload where he/she helps to improve residents’ function and quality of life. The therapist performs thorough assessment to determine the appropriate management and treatment approach, and providing education for self-management. The clinical services provided would be person-centric and evidence-based.The therapist may be involved in quality improvement & research projects, supervision & training of students and care staff.
Basic salary - S$3500 - S$5000 (AWS & PB as well!)

RESPONSIBILITIES (Senior Physiotherapist)
1) Professional/Clinical duties
- Assess, evaluate, plan and treat residents with a variety of disabilities for optimal care.
- Assist to conduct and present quality improvement/research projects.
- Assist to develop existing or new services.
2) Service operations
- Assist the day-to-day operations of the group or section.
- Attend to service breakdowns and assist to perform service recovery.
- Assist to formulate and implement pandemic preparedness plans when necessary.
3) Training & Development
- Review in-service programs and conduct training for therapists, support staff and other health care professionals.
- Assist to identify and develop staff for further training and upgrading.
- Participate in the training of external graduate or post-graduate physiotherapists or other professionals.
4) Performance Management
- Assist to collate statistics to monitor the performance of staff and section.
- Evaluate and appraise junior staff performance on direct report.
- Guide and supervise a group or groups of therapists or support staff.
5) Quality Assurance
- Ensure that staff complies with clinical protocols and service standards.
- Assist to conduct regular quality assurance audit.
6) Human Resource Management
- Manage junior staff disciplinary issues under direct report.
7) Increase the profile of the profession
- Assist in departmental, inter-departmental, division, organization or public events.
- Conduct talks for external parties.
- Contribute towards the increased profile of the department and profession through inter-department interactions.
8) Communication
- Foster open communication between staff for better understanding.
- Liaise with other members of the Health Team, external members of the profession and external vendors.

REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
- Full/Restricted registration with AHPC.
- Min 3 years of relevant experience for a senior position.
- Passion for eldercare.
- PC literate
